From the makers of "The Notebook"..... ...Thats the words from the previews that made my daughter and I want to go see this movie. We kept waiting for the movie to get interesting but it really never did. It was nice to get out with my daughter and enjoy some time together, i just wish we would have picked a better movie. Save your money on this one. Wait til it comes out on DVD.

MY FRIEND CONNOR BENCHES 20000000000 KILOGRAMS AND IS KNOWN TO BE THE BIGGEST POOPSHOOT IN THE PLANET AND GALAXY. WELL Anyways this mpovie was HORRRRRRRRIBLLE EEE! ACTUALLY IT WAS QUITE SWELL! BUT ON THE OTHER HAND THE ACTORS WERE POORLY TRAINED AND THE CAMERA ADDED AN EXTRA 20 KILOGRAMNS ONTO THERE SLIM BODIES. BOB ATE PIE!HE LIKES PIE. CASSIDY ATE SPINACH. UNLIKE CONNOR WHO ATE EVERYTHING. CONNOR LIKES CHICKEN. THOMAS LIKES GIRLS, AND HOTTIES, AND MR. DEL PALACIO. i think this movies was amazing and all you people that think this movie was bad have no taste in good movies! and i loved it!

This movie was terrible. I was so sorry I wasted over 2 hrs of my time watching this. I kept thinking the movie would pick up from its slow beginning, but it only got worse after the son got in the picture. It was unrealistic. Richard Gere played the part of a prick. Why would he want to rent the whole house out just for himself? He could definately use the company of other people. Diane Lane was her usual adequate self. I would never want to read a Nicholas Sparks novel, EVER!

Nights in Rodanthe, i found the movie to be a little fast paced and lacking while i was watching it since about 90% of it took place during one weekend... but the ending surpised me and when i left i felt satisfied by it, it sort of patched the holes. i went with my guy friend, we were both the youngest people there being 16. the rest of the people were women in their late 50's and up with some guys around that age. i reccomend it if you like romance/drama/h aving a good cry here and there

This total chick-flick is most appreciated by females up to 49. Some modest implied nudity, implied sexual encounter, and romanticized revenge-infidel ity. A good romantic tear-jerker; could be a good mother-daughter night out with an older teen daughter. But for me, being well over 50 and well past my prime, (if I ever had a prime), it left me feeling like my life is pointless and hopeless and I should just as well go hang myself.

Great movie. A romance for sure, but not really a romantic comedy. Be ready for lots of emotions, both up and down. A great movie for a date or for someone with a romantic soul.
